On August 11th, 2001, hundreds of people gathered on a family farm in a Wisconsin valley to help save an old and beautiful barn. The event raised over $10,000 to help stabilize and repair the ailing structure, and to help preserve an irreplaceable part of a rural landscape that is all too quickly vanishing.
The concert is over, but the effort to save the barn continues. On this site you'll find photos from the show and the ongoing preservation effort at Bubbling Springs Farm. You'll find information about the Barn Aid artists, and you can learn about the Barn Aid concert CD.
Barn Aid succeeded thanks to the talent of the musicians who took the stage, the hard work of many volunteers and sponsors, and the enthusiasm of the people in the audience. Thanks to all of you, the barn at Bubbling Springs Farm should stand for many decades to come.
